If you Keep chasing those who are emotionally unavailable to You, if you keep thinking they will come back to you someday

Your inner-child needs for Love. Security- Acceptance may not have been catered / nourished well enough during your formative years.

Here’s what You can Do To Heal:

Firstly, Do not be delusional about your Intimacy Wound. Accept it and if possible – embrace it. Cry your heart out- journal – etc if needed.

You have to reparent – rewire yourself. This is only possible if you accept that now you’re a grown up individual and whatever happened in the childhood / past cannot be carried by you as wounds forever . It’s your responsibility alone to fix it.

Allow yourself enough space to accept what happened with you – how you were not accepted enough – given love + security that your emotional diet needed. Instead of blame game – choose to take the responsibility to provide it to yourself.

This can happen only if you Stop focusing on what unfortunate incidents happened in the past with you — and accept that everyone has some battles to overcome – this one is Yours.

If needed, let yourself Grieve to your heart’s content, for what you didn’t have / get.

Forgive yourself for the mistakes you’ve made in past + present due to Intimacy Wound.

Create a sos list of how to handle your triggers better next time. Remind these to yourself each time.

Keep a full open heart with awareness of who you truly are – with your wounds in the healing process. This prevents further damage.

Allow yourself to be authentic, vulnerable and accepting of what your needs are. Honour your sensitivities. The beauty is – the more you accept yourself – the more you begin to change and heal for good.

Because clearly, unless you fully accept yourself and know who you truly are – how do you let go of what you least like in you.
