My Journey

Namaste
Firstly, thank you for visiting the website of a Healer, that’s seldom. It's been over 10 years now that I’ve intensively indulged in Yoga and other Integrative Healthcare Practices to heal Mind, Body, Soul from the root cause. My journey of winning International Awards for India to being a Healer had incessant battles with food allergies, PCO, sinusitis, acne attacks, heavy myopia and episodes of intense emotional turbulence disconnected with my Purpose.

One thing I never stopped believing in is Love, though deeply scarred like most of us, I always felt that Love is the purest medicine and I just had to find a way to harness this force of Love to heal. When I studied Yoga Psychology and learnt about Chakras, I instantly knew, if a body is capable of hurting itself, then it is also capable of healing itself. But the journey to healing has to begin from the Source, the root cause, with profound Self-Love or Swadharma.

The beauty of Love is, it cannot be contained, it seeks to flow like a river, spreading abundance all around it. So when I healed, the profound Love naturally found its way into sharing this Vidhya (knowledge) of Healing with one and sundry. Whether you choose Yoga or any other alternative healings, don’t forget to choose yourself on priority, with Love.

INFO

Yoga is a pre-vedic ( ancient Indian) holistic lifestyle practice that encompasses physical, mental, and spiritual disciplines. Having originated in India, Yoga as a lifestyle gained popularity worldwide for its numerous health benefits and ability to promote relaxation and well-being. Here's a breakdown of what yoga entails: Physical Postures (Asana): Yoga involves a series of physical postures and movements designed to increase strength, flexibility, and balance. These postures range from simple and relaxing poses to more challenging and advanced ones. Breathing Exercises (Pranayama): Yoga incorporates various breathing techniques to enhance lung capacity, improve respiratory function, and promote relaxation. Pranayama exercises focus on controlled breathing, helping individuals become more mindful of their breath. Meditation and Mindfulness: Yoga often includes meditation practices that encourage mindfulness, concentration, and self-awareness. Meditation helps calm the mind, reduce stress, and enhance mental clarity. Relaxation and Stress Elimination: Yoga sessions typically end with a relaxation or meditation pose, allowing practitioners to unwind and de-stress. This relaxation phase is vital for the overall calming effect of yoga on the body and mind. Philosophy and Ethics: Yoga is rooted in ancient philosophical traditions. practitioners often explore ethical principles, meditation philosophy, and the concept of mindfulness as part of their yoga journey. Spiritual Exploration: While yoga is not a religion, it can be a spiritual practice for some individuals. It encourages self-discovery, inner peace, and a deeper connection with oneself and the surrounding world. Yoga is practiced by people of all ages and fitness levels. There are various styles of yoga, ranging from gentle and restorative practices to more vigorous and challenging ones. Each style emphasizes different aspects of the practice, allowing individuals to find a yoga style that suits their needs and preferences. Regular practice of yoga has been associated with numerous health benefits, including reduced stress, enhanced mental focus, better posture, flexibility, improved concentration, and increased overall well-being. Yoga Psychology promotes a balanced lifestyle.

Yoga Psychology is about understanding an individual’s Prakriti without labelling or judging it. In Sanskrit, the term "Prakriti" (प्रकृति) is derived from the root words "pra" (प्र), which means "before" or "original," and "kriti" (कृति), which means "creation" or "production." Therefore, etymologically, "Prakriti" can be understood as the original or primary source of creation. Thus, in the context of Yoga Psychology ( and in traditional Indian medicine), Prakriti refers to the fundamental nature or constitution of an individual, encompassing their physical, mental, and emotional characteristics. It represents the inherent qualities and tendencies that make each person unique. According to Yoga, understanding one's Prakriti is essential for maintaining mental balance and promoting health. Hence, unlike Clinical Therapy Yoga Psychology doesn’t label an individual’s symptoms as “depression”, “ anxiety”, “ bipolar” etc instead chooses in identifying its root cause or origin and healing it from there. Understanding Root Cause of any problem in life one is facing, or any behaviour, repeated patterns, health issues ( physical or emotional ), etc is understood via the understanding of integral Chakra Psychology. Chakra in layman terms, are energy centres, or the vital points where life energy, or "prana" circulates and intersects with the physical body. Each Chakra in Yoga Psychology is associated with certain emotions. Having a thorough understanding of how these emotions impact the energy in our Chakra and therefore create one’s individual behaviours, patterns, health, life success and failures helps in maintaining balance of mind, body and soul. One key feature of Yoga Psychology is to identify a single root cause of one’s multiple issues. These issues could range from relationship to health to finance etc, but Yoga Psychology identifies a single root cause to all these issues together and instead of working on multiple issues, one focuses on healing the root cause of all the issues together. This ancient technique also covers the modern technique of inner child healing as we address any and all issues from childhood, most often, also finding the root cause in one’s childhood, unless otherwise in some rare cases.
